Past Meetings and Milestones

April, 2016: Meet individually with Boards of Directors from Town of Port Credit Association (TOPCA) and Port Credit Cranberry Cove Ratepayers Association (PCCCRA).
Focus: Introduce the WVP team. Provide an initial overview of the initial urban design plan. Present preliminary overview of the remediation strategy and process guided by Kilmer. Seek feedback. Agree to continue our discussions going forward.

May, 2016: Meet with Directors of the Port Credit Business Improvement Area (BIA).
Focus: Introduce the WVP Team. Provide an overview on the initial urban design plan. DREAM presented an overview of the retail and commercial ambitions for the site. Seek feedback. Agreed to continue the dialogue going forward.

June, 2016: Presentation of Pre-Bid Proposal to joint Executives of TOPCA and PCCCRA
Focus: Run through of redesigned plan informed by initial community feedback. Meet with representatives of all WVP companies. Seek revised feedback.

June 30, 2016: Bid Submitted by WVP

November 30 and December 1, 2016: Presentations to TOPCA, PCCCRA and BIA
Focus: Provide update to community stakeholders around amendments to design, layout and density, negotiated with the vendor during bid process. Field and respond to questions.

December 20, 2016:
Focus: The West Village Partners (WVP) group is chosen by Imperial Oil as the developers of the new master planned community at 70 Mississauga Road South in Port Credit. The partners include Kilmer Group, Dream Unlimited Corp., Diamond Corp. and FRAM + Slokker.

Feb 1, 2017: Joint Meeting with TOPCA, BIA and PCCCRA
Focus: “Community Economics of Development”. Group shared information about the nature and scope of development charges and property tax consequences anticipated from the proposed redevelopment. Field and respond to questions.

Feb 28, 2017: Joint Meeting with TOPCA, BIA, PCCCRA & City Representatives
Focus: Presentation by Kilmer around scope of site testing and the emerging remediation approach, technical considerations and preliminary timetable. Field and respond to questions.

Focus: Presentation by DREAM around retail and commercial design concepts. Discussion around many related issues. Field and respond to questions.

March 23, 2017:
Focus: Sales transaction with Imperial Oil closed.

April 3 and April 5, 2017: Meeting with TOPCA, BIA, PCCCRA & City Representatives
Focus: Presentation by Planning Team including the architects, urban planners and landscape architects of the draft Master Plan.

May 1, 2017:
Focus: WVP announces sales transaction has closed.

Focus: Presentation by West Village Partners of the highlights of the Draft Master plan presentation as well as update by City about public process.
